Enjoy a meal or relaxing drink at the multi award-winning King O’Malley’s Irish Pub during your visit to Canberra.

King O’Malley’s Irish Pub is located right in the heart of Canberra City across from the historic Sydney building. Popular with both locals and visitors, King O’Malley’s offers a sensational menu featuring the best fresh local produce available. There are 10 local and imported beers and ciders on tap including the famous Guinness and Kilkenny, together with a range of fine wines by the glass.

King O’Malley’s famous beer garden right on City Walk is the perfect spot to relax. Shaded in summer by established London Plane trees, the beer garden has uninterrupted views of Black Mountain and Telstra Tower.

King O’Malley was an influential politician who was responsible for selecting Canberra as the site of Australia’s national capital and for choosing Walter Burley Griffin’s design for the city. The pub is filled with interesting items from Canberra’s early history.
