The National Dinosaur Museum is Australia’s largest permanent collection of dinosaurs and prehistoric animals.
Open daily except for Christmas Day, the museum runs various special programs throughout the school holidays including guided tours, puppet shows, the Australian Fossil Workshop and our new Dinosaurs at Night tours.
With over 20 complete skeletons and 300 individual specimens, including a variety of hands-on fossils, the museum covers the entire history of the planet, from its formation to the appearance of modern man.
Ever wanted to own some dinosaur poo? The museum also boasts a shop that’s a mini museum in itself. From dinosaur fossils, to stunning crystals, to the coolest plastic dinosaurs, the shop has something for everyone.
