Parliament House is the meeting place for Australia’s Parliament with 4,500 rooms, 2,700 clocks and over 22 kilometres of corridors. The building took eight years to complete and was opened in 1988 by Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.
Visitors to the building can see the House of Representatives and Senate, as well as the Marble Foyer, Great Hall, Roof and Members Hall and part of the Art Collections. Parliament House offers free guided tours daily at 10am, 1pm and 3pm.
