Our programs support business development and facilitate the sustainable growth of tourism businesses across the Canberra Region.

The Quality Tourism Framework (QTF) is a national business development program that is suitable for tourism businesses of all shapes and sizes. It provides businesses with the necessary tools and resources to ensure best practice management, customer confidence and the ongoing sustainability.

The annual Canberra Region Tourism Awards (CRTA) provide an opportunity to showcase the best of our region’s tourism operators as well as promote, encourage, and reward tourism excellence. Entry is open to all businesses and suppliers to the tourism industry and serve to demonstrate the value of tourism to Canberra Region.

The National Capital Educational Tourism Project (NCETP) is a collaborative marketing project, with the aim of encouraging schools throughout Australia to see the educational benefits of visit to Canberra. The NCETP deliver a range of marketing and teacher professional development activities that showcase the pivotal role Canberra’s cultural institutions have in exposing students to the key elements of Australian democracy, history and heritage, science and art and how, through their education programs, can assist teachers to deliver curriculum outcomes.
